Please go read this passage!
I love these analogies about the Kingdom of God. I
think for me it just reminds me that often it can seem small, but it is
incredibly powerful. Often as Christians in this world we feel oppressed and
outnumbered. But, like the yeast in the dough, or the tiny seed growing into a
huge tree, that small thing can be powerful and grow into something big and
great. Also, like yeast mixed in with flour, or like a seed buried underground,
it can’t be seen. However, although it can’t be seen, it must be trusted that
it can and will do what it is supposed to – the yeast will make the bread rise
and the seed will grow into a tree. The actual Kingdom of God is something we
canont see. It is not here yet. However, it is like the yeast in the bread
ready to be baked or the seed planted deep underground – it will come out and
do what it is meant to in its own time, but until then we must rely on the
unseen. So, don’t doubt the Kingdom. Just have faith in it, for it will
accomplish its goal in God’s perfect timing.
That’s all! God bless! Shalom!
