October 12th -- Acts 4:23-37

Gonna' keep this short and sweet.

Yesterday I said we have to overcome obstacles sometimes to accomplish what God wants us to do. I also said we never face them alone - God is always with us. I neglected to mention that yes, staring down and overcoming those obstacles will take courage. However, you can do it. Not alone - human courage is not enough sometimes. However, you can have God's courage strengthening you. How? Pray and ask for it, just like the disciples.
Also, this passage talks about how the disciples began to share all their possessions. I just want to again point out how important community is to the body of Christ.
